Rotary Club of Oyster Point announced its 12th annual Oyster Bash, October 5th, 2024 to be held at The Mariners Museum.
Annual Oyster Bash Fundraiser
Join the Rotary Club of Oyster Point for its 12th annual Oyster Bash featuring a night of live music by Lane Rice, Games and Raffles and UNLIMITED OYSTERS. To be held at The Mariners Museum at 100 Museum Dr. in Newport News, Virginia. Proceeds go to Mariners Museum special projects as well as several other local charities. The event is on October 5th from 4:30 to 8.

Oyster Bash tickets may be purchased for $80 online at www.oysterpointrotary.com/oyster-bash.php. Each ticket is good for 1 entry, unlimited oysters and 3 drink tickets. (Including Beer and Wine)
Organization Background
The Rotary Club of Oyster Point was chartered on January 24, 1984, with 20 members. Since inception, it has completed hundreds of service projects identifying and benefiting local community needs. It has raised and donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the community. It is a part of Rotary International which consists of over 3400 clubs around the world and over 1.4 million Rotarians. Rotarians are guided by the 4-way test. Those are “Of the things we think, say or do: Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? It meets Friday mornings at the James River Country Club at 7:30AM
